Wine Down Friday ft. Triple BLT
January 24 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$5
Come on out for Triple BLT‘s Knob Hall debut!
As a BLT is a type of sandwich, named for its primary ingredients, bacon, lettuce and tomato, Triple BLT is a type of band, named for its primary members, Brockey, Lazo, and Tubbs. With this band, you get 3 slices of Brockey in Paul (Bass, a.k.a Dad), Timmy (Lead Guitar, Vocals), and Tony (Drums, Sound). Then you have the layer of Lazo in Elena (Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Percussion). Last but not least is the layer of Tubbs in Crissy (Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, some Bass).
Triple BLT is Maryland-based, comprised of seasoned musicians from both Frederick and Washington Counties. The Brockey family band has been playing together since Tim and Tony can remember. Elena and Paul played in Lonza’s company band LCNR (Lab Coats Not Required) and later with Sweet Rock out of Thurmont, MD. Elena also performs with the Choral Arts Society of Frederick via Frederick Community College (in MD). Crissy played locally in Washington County with River Run, The Groove Junkys, and Moon Shine Ride. Both Elena and Crissy are following in the footsteps of their musical parents. Together, Triple BLT covers mostly classic rock and some country music. We also feature sweet three part harmonies on many songs thanks to Tim, Elena and Crissy.
