Tucked into the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains with pastoral views of rolling hills and acres of the beautiful vineyards, Knob Hall awaits your wedding day. Knob Hall has been in the Seibert family for 200 years and we would like to welcome your family in becoming a part of the Knob Hall tradition. With our rustic romantic setting, we guarantee an unforgettable experience not only for the two of you, but for all of the family and friends gathered to celebrate your special day.
Ceremony & Receptions:
You can hold your event in one of several locations:
The White Oak Tree ($1,000 year around)
The White Oak in front of our barn/event area is on the Maryland list of historic trees and is estimated to be over 300 years old. Weddings under/around the tree can occur for up to 80-100 people.
The Meadow ($3,000 peak season *$2,400 off-peak season)
Having a wedding at Knob Hall gives you a variety of options on a 170 acre farm. Enjoy an outdoor wedding with breathtaking views of rolling hills in the countryside. There are endless opportunities for picturesque moments to be captured while you tie the knot. Upon request Knob Hall will arrange any tent rentals needed. 300 people maximum. **
*In addition to rental costs, there is a minimum wine purchase of $1,000. Unavailable for weddings on Fridays.
**All tent rental requests must be given 60 days prior to wedding events.
The Barn ($2,400 peak season*$1,800 off peak season)
The majority of our beautiful weddings take place in our historic barn which was built in the 1860’s! It has a simple yet rustic romantic feel allowing any wedding party to make it their own. Come be apart of our long standing history in this majestic barn standing over 200 years old. Our staff prides itself on our readiness to work with clients to ensure their wedding runs smoothly, from coordinating ceremonies outside to receptions and seated dinners inside. Barn holds 120 people maximum.
Whether you hold your event in our barn or outside; your visit with us will include the following:
- 10% discount is given for all Knob Hall wine that is consumed at your event
- Ample parking
- List of preferred vendors
- 6-hour rental period.
- One staff member to oversee the event. (This staff member is not to be a waiter or waitress.)
Reserving a Date
A 25% deposit is required to reserve the space and date. This deposit is 80% refundable if the event is cancelled 90 days in advance. The deposit is not refunded if cancelled less than 90 days in advance.
Knob Hall can provide glassware for your guests. A deposit is required for the glassware, which will be returned to you if the glassware is returned. Knob Hall assumes that up to 5 glasses will be taken or broken in your event. Beyond that, your party will be charged for missing or broken glassware.
A normal charge of $50 is added to your bill for clean-up costs. If the facility is determined to be “trashed”, additional charges may occur. Trash must be taken to proper disposal area.
CATERERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, Etc.
We have a preferred list of caterers, photographers, etc. to help you have a smooth wedding at Knob Hall.
Only guests 21 years of age and over may consume wine. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT PRODUCES AT KNOB HALL ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES (MD STATE LAW). If participants or guests are discovered with alcoholic beverages not produced at Knob Hall, they may be escorted off of the property and the 10% discount on wine may be deleted.
